Jim Tovey New Works & Restorations

 Buildings, Boats, Gardens and Commercial

Company Policy

Both modern and traditional boat building and new and ancient building construction techniques can involve the use of hazardous materials and machinery. Jim Tovey New Works and Restorations is insured for building sites, all premises and boat work anywhere in the UK.

We will only work using proper methods and practices ensuring safety of those around us and ourselves being a priority. Boats are worked on off the water.

Working standards are kept to the highest possible. Your projects will benefit from craftsmen qualified to City and Guilds level 3 and above as well as many years of repair, fine art and paint-work experience; including an appreciation of any related archaeological or conservation issues. Ongoing training and learning is part of the job.

Particularly where older buildings and crafts are concerned, we understand the different approaches required for repairs to buildings and restorations of boats. In both instances we appreciate work usually takes time and the right materials for a project's success. Customers can expect a thorough, careful practice enabling a product that they can be pleased with for years to come.
